Accomplishments
- Produced the grand opening of GreenLeaf Market on April 13, which received favorable media attention. The store grossed more than $15,000 on its opening day. Only $500 in advertising was spent; the turnout was accomplished via email lists, press releases, social media sharing, and word of mouth.
- Designed and deployed a highly effective grassroots, organic marketing strategy to promote GreenLeaf Market. This included identifying and connecting with community influencers, motivating employees, and strategic donations.
- Increased gross sales at GreenLeaf Market over 56.3% between the store opening in April 2019 and December 2019.
- Discovered security issues with the point of sale and scale databases at GreenLeaf Market, created and executed a plan of action to resolve the issues within 2 weeks, and worked with department heads and management to create processes and checks to prevent future issues and to secure the systems.
- Successfully launched and maintain the online grocery shopping, creating landing pages, digital coupons, and more
- Working with The St. Louis Science Center to produce cooking tutorials based upon the Grocery Market Kit product (an accessible, nutritious, easy to cook meal kit for low income families) that I developed with input from chefs.
- Deployed a highly targeted three day weekend FaceBook ad for $15 that grossed over $500 in new bakery orders

Website design for custom furniture maker Astoria Compass in Florida
I took over a previous designer’s work and re-did this website with a custom child theme based on the Divi framework. The products were imported from a Magento installation to Woocommerce, and the code extensively modified to not show prices. This was a drastic redesign that gave the client a much needed brand refresh.
SteadiCam and Video Producer Portfolio Website
This was the most video-heavy website that I’ve ever created. Besides an extensive portfolio with embedded videos, this site features search engine optimization and custom coding to make it load quick and look as unique as this production company is.
Estate sale and vintage website branding and design
This website, as I designed it, integrated eBay feeds as blog posts, while maintaining Donna’s brand as eccentric and friendly.
Flyer Design for an Estate Sale
I designed this flyer “from scratch” without using a template. It was printed and included in a large (2000+) newsletter.
WestoverFarms – my design
I designed this site, with the ability to book rooms online, for Westover Farms in 2011. They are still a client, although they had their website redesigned by another firm.
Logo Design
This remains one of my personal favorite logo designs. In 2009 I came up with the idea for tweets that would automatically expire, and went to the Consumer Electronics Show in 2011 with the idea and a prototype site up for AlmostTweeted.
Feathered Friday Meme
This is a shareable meme that I made for STARAvian Rescue. Obviously, for #FeatheredFriday
Photoshopped image of a 1888 Cabinet Card
I styled and shot an 1888 “going away” bustle dress on a model, and then I composited it onto a cabinet card that I scanned, and integrated a photo of steamboats along the St. Louis riverfront from the late 1880s. Everything was period-accurate!
Product Photography of a metal sculpture
I built the ecommerce site and took pictures of all this artist’s work.
Ecommerce site for an artist
I developed this ecommerce website, implementing SEO strategy and best practices, and took all the pictures.
