About Me

Hi, I’m Jessica K. Murray

From Content Creator to Systems Architect

For over 15 years, I have lived at the intersection of digital marketing, data architecture, and human behavior. I began my career crafting messages and designing WordPress websites for small businesses. Over time, I realized that the best messaging in the world fails if the underlying systems are broken.

Today, I operate as a Fractional CTO and Automation Strategist. I build the digital brains—complex Shopify flows, custom AI applications, and CRM data pipelines—that allow businesses to scale without burning out their founders. I believe that time and energy are our most precious resources, and that the best gut feelings are backed by clean data.

My Tech Stack & Open-Source Ethos

I am a passionate advocate for independent software developers and the open-source community. My enterprise tech stack runs on a carefully curated library of Lifetime Deals (LTDs), allowing me to deploy agency-level infrastructure—from SEOCrawl and Afforai to advanced WordPress frameworks like Divi—at a fraction of the traditional cost. I also build and share my own open-source tools on GitHub, exploring the practical limits of AI and automation for everyday creators.

I do not believe in separating our “professional” selves from our creative selves. My best technical innovations usually begin in my personal sandboxes:

A Few of My Passion Projects

VintageReveries: Sharing trends from the past to inspire you today

VintageReveries.com: What started as a way to offload a vintage clothing archive has become my 15-year living laboratory for e-commerce architecture, SEO, and AI automation. I currently use advanced AI models to identify, price, and syndicate zero-cost vintage inventory across global marketplaces.

Generative AI Playground: ReachingMyDreams

ReachingMyDreams.com: My digital playground for generative AI, digital publishing, and automation. It is home to my self-published book, Transformative Affirmations (written and formatted entirely with AI), and a suite of custom-built web applications.

My cockatoos have their own brand: TheBirdyBabe

TheBirdyBabe on Instagram: I have been the lifelong companion to Boo, my Goffin’s cockatoo, since May 2000. My other two cockatoos, Misha (a Moluccan) and Sara (an Umbrella), feel like they’ve been with me just as long. These highly intelligent, charismatic birds are a massive part of my life. I share their antics with over 17k followers on Instagram at @TheBirdyBabe, proving that organic social media truly is a long game.

“They” are also active on Youtube and Facebook. WooCommerce is implemented on their site, TheBirdyBabe.com to sell bird jewelry.

The Flock & The Viral Moment

I pride myself on being fearless, spontaneous, and taking calculated risks. Sometimes, that means jumping into a complex coding project. Other times, it means going viral on national television.

In 2015, I was testing a new hidden camera behind a pumpkin, trying to get my birds to stand on it for Halloween. Instead, I got a bloody ear. I posted the clip to my brand-new YouTube channel, and a few months later, it exploded—landing on Tosh.0, Jimmy Kimmel Live, and Right This Minute.

I have been the lifelong companion to Boo, my Goffin’s cockatoo, since May 2000. My other two cockatoos, Misha (a Moluccan) and Sara (an Umbrella), feel like they’ve been with me just as long. These charismatic long-lived birds are a massive part of my life, and I am 100% committed to giving the best life to them.

Let’s Connect

Whether you want to talk about fractional e-commerce architecture, agency subcontracting, WordPress lifetime deals, or life with cockatoos, I am always open to connecting with fellow builders and small business advocates.
