I started providing digital marketing and WordPress website design services full time in 2011 after phasing Reflex Media Solutions into a part time/freelance client. I was also selling vintage clothing, and assisted many of my colleagues with developing their vintage and antique seller brands. I created videos, social media content, and blog articles.
I quickly realized the importance of organization, efficiency and strategizing content production towards business goals. With limited resources, many start-ups and solopreneurs are overwhelmed. During this phase of my career I realized my talent for helping create efficient workflows and prioritizing projects that will result in the most “bang for the buck”.
A webpage for “House of Motion Cinematography” featuring photos of film production, client testimonials, and service descriptions for shooting film, fashion, and music videos crafted by a talented St. Louis copywriter.
This was the most video-heavy website that I’ve ever created. Besides an extensive portfolio with embedded videos, this site features search engine optimization and custom coding to make it load quick and look as unique as this production company is.
Estate sale and vintage website branding and design
This website, as I designed it, integrated eBay feeds as blog posts, while maintaining Donna’s brand as eccentric and friendly.
Flyer Design for an Estate Sale
I designed this flyer “from scratch” without using a template. It was printed and included in a large (2000+) newsletter.
A webpage showcasing a fishing resort with a rustic interior, offering options for booking, selecting dates, and choosing the number of rooms. The banner features contact information and navigation links. Expertly crafted by a St. Louis Wordpress developer to enhance user experience seamlessly.
I designed this site, with the ability to book rooms online, for Westover Farms in 2011. They are still a client, although they had their website redesigned by another firm.
A wooden tray, thoughtfully curated by a St. Louis copywriter, contains two bottles of wine, a package of crackers, a box of chocolates, a bag of nuts, and a small bunch of decorative grapes.
A gift basket of wine bottles, shot on a white background for easy clipping.
Illustration of a blue bird lying on its back with X’s over its eyes, red marks, and a scribble above its head. The text “AlmostTweeted…” is written at the bottom, capturing the humor and creativity from a St. Louis copywriter adept in WooCommerce design.
This remains one of my personal favorite logo designs. In 2009 I came up with the idea for tweets that would automatically expire, and went to the Consumer Electronics Show in 2011 with the idea and a prototype site up for AlmostTweeted.
A person in a red outfit is holding a grey parrot. Text on the image reads “Happy Feathered Friday.” Caption crafted by a talented St. Louis copywriter.
This is a shareable meme that I made for STARAvian Rescue. Obviously, for #FeatheredFriday
Photoshopped image of a 1888 Cabinet Card
I styled and shot an 1888 “going away” bustle dress on a model, and then I composited it onto a cabinet card that I scanned, and integrated a photo of steamboats along the St. Louis riverfront from the late 1880s. Everything was period-accurate!
